Wiladat Imam Hassan bin Ali (A.Ş)
15th day of the holy month of Ramadan, 3rd H, and the first son of Imam Ali (AS) and Hazrat Zahra (AS) and the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (saww) was born.
Kunyat and Imam Hassan (A.Ş) was Abu Mohammad.
His laqab (title) has narrated from Syed, Sebt, argument, Taqi, Zaki, Mujtaba, Zahed, Amir and the Crown.
Growth and development of Imam Hassan (AS) was in the company Holy - The Prophet of Islam (S) for a period of seven years. Over the years thisty, and was accompanied by his father, Karim, Amiri Momeneen Hazrat Ali (AS).
After the Shahadat (martyrdom) of Imam Ali (AS) in the year 40 AH, Imam Hassan (AS) may have assumed the presidency of the Government in accordance to a request of Muslims.
He had sent to employees in different cities such as Ummayya built sheltered deep hostility and vendetta against Bani Hashim. They plotted and many of the conspiracies being hatched to extract Khilafat from Imam Hassan (AS) and to take control of the affairs of Muslims themselves. Thus, Muawiya sent several spies and secret agents to several cities in order to pave the way to weaken the government of Imam Hassan (AS)
He said he was ready for the army to the attack on Iraq. After being informed of the happenings, Imam Hassan (AS) sent many warnings to Mu'awiya. Then he called on Muslims to prepare themselves in the fight against Mu'awiya. With a great army, he prepared himself for battle.
Before facing the army of Imam Hassan (AS), Muawiyah decided to resort to trickery and deception.
On the one hand, and said that he falsely implicated the Imam Hassan (AS) and spread the rumor among the people about the peace treaty with him. Maaouya resorted to this ruse in order to weaken the morality of the army of Imam (peace be upon him).
On the other hand, he resorted to bribery, debauchery and promising big government function, he was seduced by senior officers from the army of Imam Hassan (AS) in its submission.
In this way, and joined the ranks of the army Maaouya one after the other.
Treachery and treason had penetrated in the army and the companions of Imam Hassan (AS). They have devoured his tents, unfastened his button, pulled the rug out from beneath the construction of the thigh leg with a dagger.
Showing his army resorting to such dubious methods and his colleagues are being agitated and mood disorder, and Imam Hassan (AS) thought it advisable to stop dissent and killing Shiites, he accepted the proposal of a peace treaty with Mu'awiya, but with special conditions.
As in the writings of Ibne Khalka, and the peace treaty concluded on 25 April 41 e.
Most important conditions for the peace treaty are:
Muawiya would not call himself as Amir-ul - Momeneen (Commander of the Faithful)
From then on, would that Imam Ali (a, o) may not be cursed or ill-treatment in the vulgar language.
The life and wealth and chastity of the female members of the Shiites could be secured and protected.
Will have all rights and privileges of Shiahs be accorded to them.
Mu'awiya would not appoint anyone to succeed him.
As can be seen from the terms of the peace treaty, Imam Hassan (AS) while showing a tyrant and a usurper Mu'awiya calmed the flames of discord; save the Islamic society from total annihilation, and safeguard the rights of the Shiites.
It can be rightfully said that the biggest achievement of the peace treaty was the discernment of truth from falsehood. Truth can not be taken by the extreme meanness and falsehood can not pretend to be on the right.
The holy Imam, through his behavior and work to make people aware that Mu'awiya is a pillar of falsehood, deception and betrayal, while the right khilafat Awsiya belongs to the true nature of Islam and Prophet Mohammad (saww). They do not want to judge people by resorting to force, bribery and fraud. The same matter was pursued during the events that took place in Karbala.
After the signing of the peace treaty, and some people find fault with this important work, and the wisdom of Imam Hassan (AS). Kdhawwa him and used abusive language against the holy character. It was as if they had ignored his divine gifted position and personal and unambiguous.
In reply, said Imam Hassan (A.Ş);
"I do not Hujat of Almighty God, and him being the anniversary of when his creatures. Did not the Holy Prophet of Islam (S) said:" Hassan Hussein and two of the imams, whether sitting or standing? If I had not done this work (signed the peace treaty), no one among the Shiites would still be in this world and every body would be killed and genocide. "
After the delivery of khilafat seemed to Mu'awiya. Imam Hassan (AS) left Kufa to land a house in Medina. Began to disseminate knowledge of God and spread among the Muslims. But Muawiyah did not prevent recourse to conspiracy and intrigue from the beginning, began to break the materials peace treaty.
For sure grip that Khilafat will remain in the house, and Sid has masterminded a plot to kill Imam Hassan (AS). To accomplish his diabolical poisoning Hazrat Muawiya Ibn Zahra (o) on four occasions.
On the occasion of the fourth, made by Imam Hassan (AS) to drink poison, and was effective in the Shahadat of Imam Hassan (AS).
This work builds on the treacherous, Imam (peace be upon him) suffered from heavy bleeding and his face changed color, and said: "On several occasions, given the poison to me, but I have never suffered such hardship in this event."
Jonada says; "I went to visit Imam (peace be upon him) during the period of the illness which led to his death. I saw the tub in front of him. In view of this poison made by Mu'awiya (may the curse of the Almighty that he was spitting blood in it and I said to the Imam (p)," Ya Maula! Why not treat yourself? "
Imam Hassan (AS) replied: "O slave of Allaah! How can I fix to die," I said to him: "We are from the Almighty and to Him we return."
Imam Hassan (AS) was shahadat because of the poison in the age of 47.
After reading Namaz, and had taken his body towards the Holy Temple / Rosa (shrine) of the Holy Prophet of Islam (saww) for burial.
Tholat the owner's son says: "There was such a dramatic rise from the crowds associated with heavy body towards his grave that if the needle will be thrown on the ground, it hit men (instead of hitting the Earth).
Built in the Umayyad period when I heard about the events and a large crowd accompanying the body of the son of the holy woman Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA), but they were prevented from getting buried near the tomb of his father, the great holy sites.
Bin month Ashoob writes, which showered arrows on his body. Sticks and seventy of the arrows were removed from the holy body of Imam Hassan (AS).
According to the will of Imam Hassan (A.Ş). Imam Hussein (AS) refrained from fighting with them. Took the holy body of his brother to rest and buried there.
There is a difference of opinion on the day of Shahadat of Imam Hassan (AS).
Sheikh Kafami useful and believe that martyrdom is achieved by zero. Sheikh Abbas Qummi accept this saying in his book "Kara - ul - Basera". Ben month Ashoob says that Imam Hassan (AS) to achieve zero Shahadat 28th. Sheikh Kulaini and Khazaz Qummi say, the Holy Imam was martyred in the last day of the month of Safar.
It was narrated from Imam Hassan (AS) thirteen to sixteen children. Of his sons, is Fatima. The mother of Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.Ş). Kassem, and Abdullah are also children who have achieved Shahadat through a ring of Karbala behind his uncle Imam Hussain (AS).
